The
cake was wonderful! Well Done! And it was delicious too! Everyone
enjoyed the cake, even the kitchen staff. Sharon cut a piece for each
of
them on a large plate. When they saw the cake, they just gobbled it
down,
hand to mouth. We are saving the last 2 pieces and champagne for
Weds.
night, our semi-official anniversary date.

I just

Chris,
I apologize for being so late with this note but we had lengthly
honeymoon plans. This the first thank you note I've written for good
reason. I couldn't wait to tell you how pleased we were with our
wedding cake. It was perfect! It turned out as beautiful as the
picture I gave you. Not only that, but it was moist and tasted
delicious! We got many many compliments on this cake. Thank you
so very much for all your hard work. The cake was
beautiful.

Chris,
First, I want to
tell you how much everyone loved your cake, especially
my daughter! After
you brought it to the room, I put it in the
refrigerator so the
icing wouldn't melt When Kat arrived I opened the
refrigerator door
to show her - she stood at the door clapping, she was
so thrilled! One of
her friends is a professional baker, who had
originally planned
to make Kat's cake, but her own wedding was too
close to Kat's and
she just couldn't do it. She raved about your cake
when she first saw
it, as well as later when she tasted it. She said
(as a professional)
you had done a wonderful job. But we already knew
that - you had made
my daughter wonderfully happy!
The reaction at the
reception was not much different from my daughter's
initial reaction.
As we brought the cake out, we were surrounded by the
guests - we
suddenly felt like the Pied Piper. The cameras, which had
all been carefully
stowed away, all came out and everyone was eagerly
awaiting a piece of
cake. Now you have to understand that in this group
of friends are some
very hard-core health fanatics who don't eat
sweets, but
everyone had a piece (with a rose) and everyone wanted a
second piece. Your
sizing was perfect - I think we initially cut the
pieces too small;
but that allowed everyone to come back for more. The
cake was moist, the
chocolate was wonderful and the raspberry filling
was the crown jewel
- thank you for recommending it.
